What are the major Functions of Male Reproductive Health System

It is important to understand that the process of the  male sexual   reproductive health system. Several Sexual problems and diseases begin to start with the disturbance of the reproductive health system.

                                         

  Functions of Male Reproductive Health Syestem                

  1)    Hypothalamus                                                       

The function of the hypothalamus is the secretion of gonadotropin hormone (GnRH) which stimulates anterior pituitary glands.

2)     Anterior pituitary gland                     

The anterior pituitary gland is the gland in the head which consider as a master gland. It play a key role to secrete other hormones such as    trophic hormones  which include luteinizing hormone (LH), follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH),  adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH),  thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH). These hormones play important role in the maintenance metabolism, homeostasis production.[1] FSH is the responsible cell for the production of sperm and LH signals the testes to produce testosterone.[2]

3)    Testes                                                                      

The testes produce the male sexual hormones (androgens).[3]  Androgens are a group of hormones that play the key role in male reproductive health and the main androgen is testosterone.  The testes play an important role in Secretion of testosterone

 What are the  Functions of Reproductive Tract[4]

1) Testes           

     Sperm production

2) Epididymis                      

     Sperm acquisition of motility, maturation and storage                                                                                                                              

3) Ductus deferens, acces-sory glands, penis                

     Sperm transportation into female tract
